Keeping Up
By Brent on Jun 27, 2009 | In Matial Arts
The classes I run in Taekwondo are held in the local halls of the towns I operate in and all have wooden floors, are well lit, have ceiling fans, toilets, kitchens, chairs and tables with both having great views, one of an inland river and one of a coastal lake.
Before the students arrive I like to do my own stretching both static and ballistic and at least 1 hyung and a few techniques on the bag. When each class starts I do the stretching again, it all adds up to me being able to stay that step ahead of some of the dedicated students and enables me to teach them the correct technique through example.
Below is just a clip I strung together to give a little look at my first warm up of the day, I usually do 10 minutes before class, by time class starts I am in the zone.
