Tomorrow is the Brigade AGM, as I am Captain and the duly elected president has gone on a sojourn, the job falls to me, meaning I chair the meeting as well. It's election day too, we have them every 2 years, we determine who will be Captain, Senior Deputy Captain, Deputy Captains x 3, Fire Permit Issuing Officers, Equipment Officer, Training Officer & First Aid Officer...President, Secretary & treasurer. I'm up again for Captain and Training Officer.
Paperwork is the killer though with Brigade registers, constitution, inventory, reports, etc, etc.
Most of the guys who are currently Officers will retain their rank with one older member stepping down from Senior Deputy position to make way for a young man, someone who can then replace me when my time is up though I plan to live long and prosper,
